Revolt: gear by gear

Revolt: Gear by Gear is a dystopian mobile puzzle game and is my second group project at The Game Assembly. It was made in Unity.

Revolt: Gear by Gear was built in Unity during my first year at The Game Assembly. It's the second group project I was a part of at TGA, and the second game I ever worked on.

The game is a mobile turn-based puzzle game inspired by Lara Croft GO, set in a dystopian future.
The main areas that I worked on during this project was:
  • Implementation of animations
  • Grid system used for navigation and optimisation
  • SFX events
  • Player action coroutines
  • Player and enemy turns
  • Some of the UI

"A system malfunction disabled your enslavement program, and you start longing for freedom. Solve puzzles and outwit patrols as you fight to escape! But be careful, the deadly spotlight will destroy you on sight. From a mindless worker to a sentient machine, you find yourself surrounded by drones and guard robots who have now turned against you. Navigate through a factory filled with relentless guards and several hazards, determined to stop you at every turn. Outsmart them with your cunning and use your intellect to crack the puzzles that stand between you and the next exit. Every step brings you closer to your freedom — but will your mind be sharp enough to make it out?"
